As a former foster parent and a grandparent of 16 grandchildren, Cheri’s experience with children’s programs ranging from Scouts to adult leadership development and nonprofit management providing the background for effective program development and management.

My studies with diverse education classes led me to teach. I have taught in daycare centers, preschools, public schools, Catholic schools, and Montessori Schools. I continued and retired as an Administrator in a Montessori school. I have resided and taught in Maryland, Florida and Flagstaff, Arizona. We raised our daughters in Flagstaff and are grandparents now to a high school and college student.
Marcia has two adult grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is a retired insurance professional, and lives in PV with her husband David and their rescue pup Mr. Bo.
With 45 years in all levels of education, I retired as an assistant superintendent. I am personally aware of how important it is for children to have adults supporting them in all they do, and I’m excited to continue using my leadership skills working with LEGs. My husband, Doug, and I live in Glendale and have five grandchildren all growing up in Arizona.

Professionally, I was a dental hygienist in a general practice where I saw several children from their first trip to the dentist until they left for college. Professionally, I was a dental hygienist in a general practice where I saw several children from their first trip to the dentist until they left for college. In my retirement, I'm enjoying helping the teachers in the children’s Sunday school program. Last year I finally became a grandma, and it is the joy of my life. I think LEGS will be a blessing for both the kids and the “grandparents”.

I have a Master's degree in education from Marymount University and have been active in my church all of my life. I am proud of my Girl Scout Adventur
