I have always enjoyed working with children from my Middle School/ High School years of babysitting then progressing into my camp counselor years throughout college.

My studies with diverse education classes led me to teach. I have taught in daycare centers, preschools, public schools, Catholic schools, and Montessori Schools. I continued and retired as an Administrator in a Montessori school. I have resided and taught in Maryland, Florida and Flagstaff, Arizona. We raised our daughters in Flagstaff and are grandparents now to a high school and college student.

With 45 years in all levels of education, I retired as an assistant superintendent. I am personally aware of how important it is for children to have adults supporting them in all they do, and I’m excited to continue using my leadership skills working with LEGs.  My husband, Doug, and I live in Glendale and have five grandchildren all growing up in Arizona.

I think LEGS will be a blessing for both the kids and the “grandparents”.

My husband, son, and daughter bring me much love.  Reading and travel are some of my favorite activities.

Even though I am now retired, I loved working with children as a preschool teacher and director for childcare centers. I am a mother of 3 daughters and a grandmother of 6 wonderful grandchildren. I think children are such a joy and they need to have fun with adults as well as other children.
