
As a former foster parent and a grandparent of 16 grandchildren, Cheri’s experience with children’s programs ranging from Scouts to adult leadership development and nonprofit management providing the background for effective program development and management.

Even though I am now retired, I loved working with children as a preschool teacher and director for childcare centers. I am a mother of 3 daughters and a grandmother of 6 wonderful grandchildren. I think children are such a joy and they need to have fun with adults as well as other children.

Marcia has two adult grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is a retired insurance professional, and lives in PV with her husband David and their rescue pup Mr. Bo.

With 45 years in all levels of education, I retired as an assistant superintendent. I am personally aware of how important it is for children to have adults supporting them in all they do, and I’m excited to continue using my leadership skills working with LEGs. My husband, Doug, and I live in Glendale and have five grandchildren all growing up in Arizona.

Professionally, I was a dental hygienist in a general practice where I saw several children from their first trip to the dentist until they left for college. In my retirement, I'm enjoying helping the teachers in the children’s Sunday school program. Last year I finally became a grandma, and it is the joy of my life. I think LEGS will be a blessing for both the kids and the “grandparents”.
